The Bottom Line
For a beginner in digital cameras, or someone who only needs a basic one, this camera is perfect. The price is right, retailing for $179 but it can be found for less. At this price, getting 3.2 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom alone is worthwhile. It also has a few other features that make it worthwhile.
Pros
- Inexpensive camera
- Nice features for the price
- Easy to use
Cons
- Tough to make larger prints from 3.2 megapixels
- Auto-focus is only option
- Viewfinder only displays 80 percent coverage
Description
- Sliding lens cover turns the camera on and off
- Records video clips
- Can connect directly to certain printers
- Features a 1.5-inch LCD screen
Guide Review - Fuji Finepix A330
If you don't have a lot of cash to throw around and only have basic needs, this is the camera to get. Its easy to use for beginners, as the menu is simple to navigate. It will deliver a decent image and a nice 4x6 and 5x7 (even a passable 8x10) print. Unlike many low-end digital cameras, it features a 3x optical zoom. It has a few flash and shooting modes, which is nice. On the downside, the focus is always automatic and the viewfinder doesn't match the actual image coverage.
