Samsung's TL500 camera creates extremely sharp and vibrant photographs, thanks to one of the highest-quality lenses you'll find in a point and shoot camera. However, its high price and small zoom lens makes it a camera more suited to intermediate and advanced photographers.

The Samsung PL200 is a good value, especially considering it has a 7X optical zoom lens and a large LCD screen. Overall speed and performance is pretty good, too, making the PL200 a nice option for beginning photographers.

With a price of less than $200, Samsung's L210 offers a number of slightly above average features, when compared to other models in its price range. The L210 has a few drawbacks, but it works well for a beginning photographer looking for a thin, inexpensive option.
