My Review 

This is my first DSLR. This camera has helped me to get into the world of photography. For a beginner it is great camera. For experimenting and finding out what we really want in photography and to choose where we want to proceed in the huge world of photography this a excellent piece of equipment.

This camera supports almost all the lenses in Canon's basic range. And like I have mentioned in the "pros", this is very easy to handle for a beginner.

I love my 1000D and will ever do so, irrespective of what camera I upgrade to.
