March 2008My Review
I would not recommend a Canon. I paid $350 for a camera, thinking it would last many years. Within two weeks, it was in the shop. The batteries die after 10 photos. It has cost me over $150 in rechargeable lithum batteries and two new battery chargers, as Canon said it is the battery charger.
Recently the screen went black and Canon told me it is due to the battery terminals and would cost $150 to fix.
Camera "pros"
When it works, it can take great pictures and is easy to use.
Camera "cons"
Can only get 10 photos on the lowest settings and don't use it to download pictures to save batteries.
Having to be quick to take photos before the camera closes down due to low battery.
Photos are not good.
It is heavy and the screen is hard to see outside.
Not worth the price.
