My Review

First of all, I must say that the manual -- or, rather, lack of one -- was the main difficulty I experienced. I had to live with this camera and learn by using. But, once I did, I never have ceased to be amazed by the wide range of extras it has. The Camera is a 10.5 megapixel and does take very good shots. Auto white / focus / exposure / flash and the rest, all are pretty standard. I find I get about 300 photos on one charge.

I can't tell anyone how much abuse the camera might have taken, because I am very careful with it. I carry it in a cloth pouch.

Overall, for the price range and most people's needs, it's an excellent choice, I think.

Camera "pros"

From one-step easy shots (full auto), to movie and custom settings when not in auto mode, it can do a lot. The large screen isn't a new feature now, but fairly new when I bought it. I looked for a camera like this one as it has a rechargeable battery (more earth friendly I hope).

Camera "cons"

There is a slight tendency to have fuzzy photos if you take several shots in rapid succession, but, otherwise, results are consistently good.

I have also noted the tendency to get white artifacts (don't know what else to call them) when flash is used indoors and there are small shiny metal objects in room.

Thanks for posting your opinions! And that lack of printed user manuals is, unfortunately, a common problem with many cameras these days -- it's one way for the manufacturers to save some money.
