My Review 

I've been freelancing 50 years and this is my first pocket camera and my favorite. I take by far more pictures than ever with this feature-packed camera because of its handiness, ease of use and quality. By reputation of the Nikon brand I trust its reliability and performance. It feels mechanically sound and optically superb.

Camera "pros" 

Used within published parameters, it produces sharp pictures but I've not made larger than 5x7 prints. I love the distinguished bronze color and the sturdy belt case design. Both close-up and 10X zoom are extraordinary. Advanced features such as panoramic and VR are a delight. Very well designed

Camera "cons" 

Although there are 14.2 megapixels, I'm surprised computer enlargements are as pixilated. The left index finger naturally rests atop the pop-up flash. Boot time is rather long as well as shutter delay. Flap covering cord socket is flimsy but works.
