January 2010My Review
After using a Nikon D60 for about a year, I decided it was time to move to a more professional camera. I chose the Nikon D300s because I could still use my DX lenses from the D60, and for the video feature, which is really becoming popular. This camera has a steep learning curve, and, if you are looking for an upgrade from a "point and shoot" camera, it can be daunting. However, having said that, it does give the photographer an amazing amount of creative ability. I have shot with Nikon products for over 40 years, having started with a Nikon F Photomic FTN, and the D300s is one of the best I've ever used, and by far the best DX format digital camera on the market.

It's a little heavy
