December 2010My Review
I was talked into buying a "pre-loved" D60 by my semi-pro son, who preferred the D40's simplicity. I fell for the D60's anti-dust feature instead. It's a very nice digicam and does provide excellent results, when I can figure out how to use it in different environments. I've been taking pictures that have been published in books, magazines, and newspapers since 1950, and I own five other digicams, but this is the first one that has made me feel like I'm not always in control.
Camera "pros"
Sharper results than my Fujifilm S6000FD point and shoot; it feels like a precision product
Camera "cons"
Heavy, which is noticeable when using it all day; complicated to use, with more adjustments and information than I really want or need; lens shade on 18-70mm gets in the way of the zoom ring when retracted, must be deployed when not needed; still must to buy a 55-200mm VR lens to come close to Fujifilm point and shoot digicam's zoom range
