December 2011My Review
I've been using the Nikon D70 for almost 7 years, and I tried the Nikon D3000 for just a month. The Nikon D7000 is my third Nikon, and this so far is the best and has everything I ever wanted on a DSLR with a great HD video capability.
With the 18-105mm lens and a prime 50mm lens, you're ready for any type of shooting engagement.
Camera "pros"
Settings are very easy to remember, and easily accessible on the the release mode dial
The (picture) colors are truly brilliant, even on low light setting
With a two memory card setup and with the use of a 32GB memory card (one set as back up), you'll never run out of space and the confidence to keep shooting
Camera "cons"
Must have two batteries or the optional MB 11, because this camera is a power gusher
