Name of product:
Pentax K-r DSLRApproximate date of purchase:
January 2011My Review
The Pentax K-r is a well featured camera with high fps, decent buffer size, comfortable in the hand, and lots of customization for users.
Lots of good reviews out there, but, unfortunately, none picked up on the massive number of complaints from users regarding the autofocus and issues in low kelvin light and tungsten.
Camera "pros"
Nice price
Good viewfinder
Larger buffer and fast fps
Nice image
Camera "cons"
Camera cannot focus in tungsten, and low kelvin light focus is way off.
Returned for exchange three times; all bodies had huge front focus
Pentax support is next to useless; they admit a problem but don't have a fix for it, in the end, they ignored all my e-mails and just left me with a camera that was faulty
