My Review

After over 30 years of considerable use, I can only say positive things about my little Pentax ME. Now my problem is replacing the body so that I can change to digital and continue using the lenses with the new digital body. Someone suggested that those lenses will work and, if so, then that just tells one just how super Pentax continues to be. During those 30-plus years, I cannot think how many rolls of film I used and how many bucks were spent on processing and all that. Except for the fool operating the camera, most of the pictures were halfway decent, and some were actually quite good. Had a more talented person operated the camera, there would have been some really trophy pictures. It has been faithful for me. Not one time in those years has it stopped because of a failure. Keep the batteries fresh and it's going to keep on clicking. In short: I am a Pentax yea-sayer, first class.

Camera "pros"

Lightweight. Consistently good. Durable. Easy to exchange lenses even in the dark. Whole plethora of features found on many of the high end cameras.

Camera "cons"

Cannot think of any right now, and probably not later either.

Thanks for your thoughts, and it's great the camera has worked so well for you for more than three decades! Simply amazing! As far as using your ME lenses with newer Pentax digital cameras, check with the company to find a list of compatible digital models.
