Great camera for me and still is. I use it all the time. Takes good portrait and outdoor shots. Lots of good features. Easy photo downloads. Nice clear crisp LCD screen. I like using the finder most. The 12X zoom is enough for most distance shots, and it's clear steady. Those may be the best reasons for having and keeping this camera. This camera was a big step up from point and shoot types of cameras and as versatile as more expensive and complicated and less versatile cameras.

Not enough zoom. The available accessories at the time cost too much, way too much.
Software does not allow you to erase old photos after they have been downloaded to your computer. No way to add an external flash; the internal flash uses way too much battery and takes too long to recharge itself.
