Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
It was lost near Thornton Avenue, Dalton, Ga., Whitfield County. It was in a bag with a wallet and a book collection of Wendell Berry poems. Lost at Marathon service station on Thornton Avenue. Nikon D90 with Nikon 35-70 mm lens. A witness saw a man in a pickup truck stop and pick up the bag and drive off.
Lessons Learned
- Don't leave camera bag on top of car, especially don't drive off with bag on top of car. Somebody in a white pickup, wearing jeans and a white shirt will come along and pick it up before you discover you left your camera bag on top of the car when you drove off from Marathon service station on Thornton Avenue in Dalton, Ga.
