When Approximately Was the Camera Found / Lost?
The camera was lost around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at the port in Cozumel, Mexico. We returned from a fishing excursion and took photos of barracuda.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
We were traveling on Celebrity Cruises Solstice and took a fishing boat excursion. When we returned, we docked at the port of Cozumel, Mexico. We took photos of barracuda we caught (while surrounded by a crowd of onlookers); then the camera disappeared :-(
The camera was only a week old, but had a year-old memory card. We had taken family photos on board the cruise and the previous day at Grand Cayman. I transferred the digital card from an old camera into the new camera. The digital card in the Samsung camera had over a year's worth of family photos on it, including shots of our 11-year-old female yellow labrador.
The camera can be replaced -- the images are priceless!
