The camera was lost on July 22, or possibly July 23, 2011
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
Unfortunately, it could have fallen out of my backpack in several locations:
1) at Dulles International Airport in Virginia
2) on United Flight UA932 to Frankfurt, Germany
3) at Hotel National in Frankfurt, Germany.
I noticed it was not in my camera bag on July 24 -- the day after I arrived in Europe. Since I looked all over the hotel, I began to think I may have left it back home in Virginia. Well, I have torn my condo apart, and I am certain the camera is lost.
Lessons Learned
- In the future, I will transfer photos from my SD card to my online storage more frequently, and especially before and during travel.
