Color: Classified as brown, but it looks more like a dark metallic brownish purple

When Approximately Was the Camera Found / Lost?
Date: Saturday Oct. 15, 2010, however, technically, it was the 16th since it was between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
Location: Las Vegas, Nev.
It was lost in a taxi cab. I was picked up from the Krave Nightclub at Planet Hollywood and dropped off at the Tao Nightclub at the Venetian. The camera was left in the cab between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m.
I took my camera out of my purse to pay for the cab and, like a dummy, left the camera on the seat.
I, unfortunately, did not get the cab name or number. :(
My camera did not have any identifying marks. Unfortunately, I lost a ton of awesome pictures, tons of memories.
Lessons Learned
- If you ride in a cab always check seats to be sure nothing is left behind.
- Ask cab driver for receipt, ask driver to write cab number and cab company name on it.
- Put a label on camera with your phone number in the event it is lost.
