Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
The camera was lost somewhere on the road from Fort Worth to Midland, Texas, most likely at a gas station near I-20 and Highway 183. It could have been lost on a random side of the road stop as well, or at the Olive Garden parking lot on Highway 20 and Hulen in Fort Worth.
We stopped at a rest stop about halfway to Midland. I think it was either in Abilene or Sweetwater.
Lessons Learned
- Always keep it in the place it belongs, not in a bag that could roll over when you open the car door.
