It was lost on Dec. 4, 2010, in a taxi in Miami South Beach, Fla.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
I left it in the back seat when the driver threw us out for complaining that his meter was not turned on. The driver was menacing, and I was in a panic when he suddenly pulled over and said, "Get out, I don't want to take you, find another cab." He didn't have the meter running, and when he found out we paid $14 to get from the port to South Beach, he wanted to charge $40 for the return trip and not use the meter, so he pulled over and threw us out.
Lessons Learned
- Check to make sure I have all of my belongings, even if the driver is menacing.
