Did You Find a Camera? Or Did You Lose a Camera?
Lost a camera
Describe the Camera, Such as Brand/Model/Color.
Red Nikon Coolpix that uses AA batteries
Does the Camera Have Any Identifying Marks?
Not that I can recall, but I don't care about the camera. I just want the memory card if the pictures haven't already been deleted. Irreplaceable memories are on there.
How Should the Camera's Owner / Finder Contact You?
Cell phone: 406-498-1590 and leave message if no answer.
When Approximately Was the Camera Found / Lost?
Lost approximately between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., April 1, 2010.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
The camera was lost in Pensacola, Fla., USA, on the way to the airport, either at a gas station or on the side of the road within 5 miles of the airport entrance. It would have been in a case that was made by Case Logic. Gray and orange and black, if I remember right.
Lessons Learned
- Don't run out of gas on the way to the airport and have to scramble like a chicken with your head cut off to flag someone down, get gas, fuel the car, return the rental, and have to sprint to catch your flight. And somewhere in there, misplacing the camera. Definitely don't recommend it.
