When Approximately Was the Camera Found / Lost?
We lost the camera on May 27, 2011 at 5:30 at the Carousel in Fantasyland in Disneyland Paris.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
We lost the camera at the Carousel in Fantasyland in Disneyland Paris. Somebody said it had fallen in the carousel but we had that checked, and it is obvious that someone picked it up. We kept looking for the camera in the carousel area by the time the person who may have taken the camera slipped out. The charge of the battery was down to a single notch, and it would not have lasted very long.
Lessons Learned
- 1. Never load your camera with a 16GB card because we lost all our Paris holiday pictures. We may go back someday but my daughter will never be 4 again, we have lost all our precious pictures, most especially the Disneyland pictures. Had I used a smaller capacity card, I could have at least had some of the holiday pictures.
- 2. That everybody who comes to Disneyland is not good and honest or, remotely, the stuff fairy tales are made of.
- 3. Be alert at all times, you never know what may get you unawares.
