Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
The camera was lost near the Haleakala National Park visitor's center in Maui, Hawaii, USA. I had just taken a photo of my husband and daughter in front of the visitor's center, and I then put the camera away in my purse. I guess I had not put it entirely in my purse, and it must have fallen out. I discovered it missing a few minutes later when we tried to take another photo in front of the signs in the parking lot. We went back to retrace my steps but I couldn't find it in the short distance between the visitor's center and parking lot walkway.
Lessons Learned
- Make sure that the camera is really back in your possession by checking the area around you to make sure you are not missing anything.
