We lost our whole weekend full of family memories while tubing on the Manitowish River. I know that this is long shot, but we would be so grateful if someone finds and returns this camera to us. Because of the camera's weight and the attached lanyard, I continue to hope that it got snagged on a branch or rock and someone will find it. Thank you.
Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
The camera was lost in Manitowish Waters, Wis., in the middle of the Manitowish River, approximately 200-300 feet before the boat landing where the tubing trip ends. It was not in a bag, but attached to a yellow lanyard.
Lessons Learned
- It is better to keep your waterproof camera on a solid lanyard and be choked than to use one with a safety (break away) feature and lose your family photos!
