What Was the Weather Like? What Was the Lighting Like?
It was overcast.
I used a flash. This photograph was taken outdoors.
I took several photos and hoped that this beautiful creature would not get startled by my flashes and my movement. This owl was very large in size and was rather intimidating.
The weather was cloudy and the lighting was perfect for this photograph.
Advice
- Take many photos with different camera settings
- I wished that I had my tripod with me
- I think it is very important to take your camera with you when you are out in nature because you never know when you might capture that award-winning shot
