What Type of Camera and/or Lenses Did You Use?

Nikon D7000, Nikon 18-105mm lens, reflector

What Was the Weather Like? What Was the Lighting Like?

It would have been around late afternoon, 5-6 p.m. It was a lovely sunny day, and the temperature was around 28 degrees Celsius. There were not many clouds in the sky, so, from where I was shooting (indoors), I had to use a reflector to bounce the light off as it came through the door.

There was no flash used, although I would have loved to see what it would have looked like if I put the ISO to 100 and used a flash.

The photo was taken in South Australia on a sheep farm, so it was pretty funny having to watch out for sheep "poo" as we were walking around.

Advice

  • Next time I would have used a tripod, as I would have liked to see the difference in the end result. Also would have used a flash to see the different effects we could have done.

If You Remember, What Were the Camera's Settings?

ISO 800, f8-11

What Type of Planning Was Needed to Set Up This Photo?

There was no real planning. I had a wonderful model who worked well with me and understood what we needed to accomplish to get the job done

Why Is This One of Your Favorite Photos?

Just love that "country look" with a city girl! Also, the way the light falls on her.

Nice photo ... and a funny story to go with it, which always makes a photo better, in my opinion!
