What Was the Weather Like? What Was the Lighting Like?
This was a sunny clear day and the sun reflection seemed just right through the red hummingbird feeder. I worked to get the optimum color from the feeder. It took several shots to get the hummingbird where I wanted her because of the shutter delay on the digital camera. The picture was actually taken through the front porch window. No flash was used to make the shot.
Advice
- Perhaps a flash might have given more control on the hummingbird, but might have dampened the color in the bottle or the reflection of light through the wings.
