What Was the Weather Like? What Was the Lighting Like?
It was a sunny day, outdoors, with no flash. The weather was gorgeous in Venice that day as I was on the gondola. For some reason, Venice has the most perfect pockets of light as you go in between the different buildings, probably because light is reflected off the water.

Nothing. I was on a gondola in Italy. It was spontaneous.
Why Is This One of Your Favorite Photos?
This is one of my favorite photos because the moment my mother saw it, she thought it was professional. She thought I was joking, and she uses it now as her background on her computer. I have gotten so many compliments about this specific photo, it's crazy.
What Did You Learn About Photography With This Photo?
I learned that I love photography and, sometimes, the elements just come together to create a great shot.
