Canon's latest DSLR camera -- the EOS 60D -- builds on past successes of Canon DSLR models, while adding some interesting new features.
The EOS 60D is the first Canon EOS camera that includes a 3.0-inch, high-resolution LCD screen that's viewable from almost any angle. It also can swivel and rotate away from the camera body, allowing for odd-angle photos.
Canon re-designed the dials from previous EOS models, making them easier to use, regardless of whether you're shooting vertical or horizontal photos. The EOS 60D allows you to do some editing to RAW images in the camera.
Additionally, the 60D can shoot full 1080p HD video at up to 30 frames per second. You'll find artistic filters, which allow you to shoot with a grainy black and white format or a "toy camera" format.
Obviously, Canon is aiming the EOS 60D at more experienced photographers, as it carries an MSRP of $1,099 for the camera body alone. (Compare Prices) However, for those looking for a DSLR model with all of the latest features, the EOS 60D is definitely worth consideration.
