Some people enjoy the solid feel of a larger camera, allowing them to hold it and use it more like the old 35mm film cameras, rather than the tiny point and shoot cameras of today that require holding the camera a bit awkwardly.

Fujifilm's FinePix HS30EXR fixed lens camera is one of those larger models that some people will appreciate, thanks to a 30X optical zoom lens that has good wide-angle capabilities. In addition, the HS30EXR has 16MP of resolution, full HD video, a 3.0-inch LCD, and a maximum ISO sensitivity of 12800.

The HS30EXR, called the HS33EXR in some parts of the world, was part of Fujifilm's announcements of more than a dozen cameras at CES 2012. It carries an MSRP of $499. (Compare Prices) The HS30EXR is an upgrade to last year's HS20EXR, which I found to be a nice camera during my HS20EXR review.
