GE typically has focused on inexpensive digital cameras through its General Imaging division. One of the newer models now available for purchase, the J1458W, follows in the footsteps of those previous models.
The GE J1458W offers a 5X optical zoom lens, 14.1MP of resolution, and a 2.7-inch LCD. None of those features is going to "wow" most photographers, but the price might. You'll find the J1458W at an MSRP of $79.99 (Compare Prices), and it's available in silver, black, or red body colors.
At that price, this model would be well worth considering as a kids camera.
