My Review

This is my first DSLR, although I did own a Canon PowerShot for a year before getting this one. It's a great camera, and I'm very happy with it. I use it for most types of photography, particularly portraits. I've taken over 10,000 shots with it now, and it has performed very well, with no problems. It did taken me a while to figure out how to use it correctly on manual settings, as I hadn't really explored that before. I'm probably typical of most women in that I find camera manuals a bit heavy going, so I learned all about my cameras settings from buying the "Dummies" book. Having sat with that and the camera for a couple of days, I then knew exactly what the camera is capable of doing ... although I'm still learning to put it all into practice.

Camera "pros"

It fits in my hands nicely and is not too heavy to carry around all day. The buttons are all in easy places to find and operate. It feels robust, although I wouldn't advise bouncing it on the floor!

There is nothing I don't like about this camera.

Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts! (And you aren't the only one who finds user guides a bit heavy!) ;-) Good luck as you continue to learn more about your camera!
