I got the Kodak ZX3 Playport video camera as a Christmas present from my parents. It worked great, and I had no problems with it, until it broke. I had it for 7 months. The problem was that the camera wasn't turning on or charging. I talked with a customer service rep from Kodak online, and they said I had to send it in for repairs. I then got an e-mail about 45 minutes later saying this: "Kodak reserves the right to not give you your camera back from the repair center and not give you a refund or exchange." I then went down to the Wal-Mart store we bought it from. They declined to refund my parents' money or exchange the product, because it had been over 30 days old. We told them, "Well, this is why we got the warranty with you guys so that we could get a refund or exchange." The response to that was, "We can't do it." I then called the district manager, and I had to go to the regional manager for me to actually get anywhere. I then was reassured that I'd get my camera back via a three-way call between me, the Regional Manager of my Wal-Mart, and the Kodak representative supervisor. I sent it in and, two days later, my camera will barely charge on its own. I have to take the charger out and then reinsert the charger every 15 to 20 mins until the camera is 100% charged. So, obviously the United Camera and Binocular Repair (zip code: 60106) doesn't do their repair job!
Camera "pros"
Works for 6 to 7 months.
Camera "cons"
It doesn't work after 6 months (if you don't believe me look at other peoples' comments on Kodak ZX3 Playsport). They all have the same problems, the main system board.
