My Review 

I like the unit, but the lens that come with it leaves you hungry for a lens with more power.

The audio is horrible. I purchased it due to the reasonable price of $520 for the purpose of picture taking and making videos for YouTube.

It seems the art of good picture taking with the D5000 involves constant use of the different picture quality settings.

This is my first camera so I like it. It's easy to use and attractive. I get a lot of compliments and questions when I'm out with it. It's also simple to get a bystander to film me; I can teach them quickly & they usually don't mind.
