My Review 

The D7000 is a great camera, if used with high-end lenses. Not that you cannot use it with its kit lens, for example, but to get its full potential, you should use better lenses.

In spite of my negative comment below, I would still recommend it, but I would let the buyer know its limitation as far as the burst mode is concerned.

Camera "pros" 

Excellent image quality, especially when shooting in RAW and with high-end lenses.

Camera "cons" 

Very poor when it comes to the burst mode. Shooting in RAW + JPEG, after just 6-7 frames, the camera slows down.

Is this camera easy to use? 

How is the image quality in good lighting? 

How is the image quality when using the flash? 

Do you like the camera's style and feel? 

How is the camera's LCD screen? 

Do you feel like the camera is/was a good value?
