Where Exactly Was the Camera Found / Lost?
It was lost at the main beach area of Laguna Beach, Calif. It was in a red carrying case, and it fell off my waistband while I was walking on the beach. We parked across the street from Market Garden Cafe and walked south. We walked on part of the boardwalk where the beach came out to meet the sidewalk, then continued down the sidewalk a few more blocks. We turned right on a side road to go down to the beach. I don't know the name of the street, but they had the second story of a house marked with pink ribbons. We walked down the cement steps to the beach and headed back north. After about 10 minutes, I realized I no longer had my camera on my waistband.
Lessons Learned
- I would put my name and phone number in my camera case. I would also make sure that it was better attached to me. I would download all of my old pictures before takng it on vacation.
